The lattice king pole is designed to take lighting and sound equipment, up to two tonne, the lattice work has cross pieces in 48mm OD tube, which makes fixing both equipment and trussing very easy. We have flown a complete sound system off the king pole in this venue giving maximum sound for the audience, second stage, Pheonix Festival, and minimum spread for the Council, Stratford on Avon

DESIGN A large venue, but one which does not dwarf either the performers or the public, anyone who has been to a show in it will tell you how exceptionally warm and friendly the atmosphere can be inside this venue, and the acoustics are responsive and accurate. Probably our most successful venue, so far…
STAGE This venue works very well with a side stage when the cupola and trusses are well placed to provide easy fixings for lighting, and also reduce the need for ground support. The venue also works well with an end stage, when we can arrange to alter the end quarter poles to allow a clear view of the stage.
RIGGING The major steel work of the structure is designed to facilitate rigging. The lattice king poles are designed to take lighting and sound equipment, up to two tonnes on each king pole, and the lattice work has cross pieces with 48mm OD tube, which makes fixing both equipment and trussing very easy. The cupola is inside the tent and is a lattice box structure, designed to take a distributed load of 1 tonne for rigging lighting and other equipment. Access to the cupola is from the king poles which are easy to climb. The four quarter poles for each pair of centres are lattice work and each pair supports a truss between them which can take a distributed load of 250kg. The lattice quarter poles are designed to take lighting and sound equipment up to a total of 400kg each including any load on the truss, and are accessible from the lattice quarter poles.
SIDEWALLING 4m high, Deep red outside, dark blue inside.
DOORWAYS As many as required steel frame double doorways, 2.4 meters wide.

DESIGN This large and elegant venue has excellent lighting possibilities, and very good sight lines. The acoustics are responsive and accurate. The tent actually does take the form of a larger yellow pyramid, but not Egyptian, less earthbound, sort of more Tibetan.
STAGE This venue works very well with a side stage on any 15m side and the king poles and cupolas and trusses are well placed to provide easy fixings for lighting and sound and also reduce the need for ground support. A complete lighting rig can be flown, up to 8 tonnes. The four pole configuration gives the option of having an elevated DJ stage right in the centre of the venue, lighting positions all round, with tremendous atmosphere. Leeds City Council used it very successfully for their Breeze Festival.

STAGE (A) This venue works best with an end stage, by replacing the single king pole in front of the end stage with a goal post which forms a proscenium arch. This long and wide venue gives excellent sight lines for a very large audience, and effective support for lighting equipment. This layout was used for T in the Park abd Creamfields.(B) For Northern Theatre Ballet, we rigged the Goal Post in place of the second king pole so giving them a huge stage with good flying height for their lighting and scenery and space for an orchestra pit, and room backstage so that all the dressing rooms were in one structure.
